I read somewhere that the best camera is the one you have. It talked about camera phones.
So here is a photograph I took from my Sony Ericsson phone some while ago.
In Hindu temples, such bells are as important a fixture as the idols themselves. You announce yourself before entering the home of the gods by striking a note on the bell (or bells). They are also an auspicious symbol; the sound produced by striking the bells is believed to scare the demons and monsters away.
This picture was taken in a small but well frequented temple of a goddess in Allahabad, India.
Such an effective shot. I love how the burnished bronze stands out against the red and the pink to give it that mystical, eastern feel.
